National Parks
Flinders Chase & the Remarkable Rocks.
Wander Admirals Arch, the sculpted granite of the Remarkable Rocks, or the eucalypt walks of Kelly Hill. Forty-five minutes from the house.
Wildlife
Kangaroos at dusk, sea lions at dawn.
Seal Bay Conservation Park, Raptor Domain and the wildlife sanctuary at Hanson Bay. Kangaroos and wallabies often visit the garden at last light.
Food & Wine
Island cellar doors and slow lunches.
Visit False Cape Wines, The Islander Estate and Bay of Shoals. Dudley Wines pours overlooking the channel, and the Kangaroo Island Spirits distillery is a fine afternoon detour.
